Hammock House

Originally produced for ARCH 2020: Radical Domesticity with Professor Maria Aragarun-Gonzalez at the UVA School of Arch, Spring 2019

The project consists of three organic pods that have the basic programmatic necessities- bedroom, office, and bathroom. The pods can be assembled for easy transportation to hang over locations like the mountains, forest, city, or any other location desired to study settings. Each pod has environmental function. The bathroom has rain water collection for basic plumbing. The office has a deployable wind turbine for energy generation. The bedroom has solar panels for more energy generation. Overall, an adventure researcher that wants to study settings, overhanging each environment. The netting acts as a hammock to enhance the experience.
